International Women’s Day – 8th March 2021
As a business built by women for women we couldn’t exactly not mention the importance of today now could we?
International Women’s Day – ‘a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women..’
IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organisation specific.
We are on a mission at MPWR to forge our own #ChooseToChallenge campaign to empower businesswomen to have the business and life THEY want and for success to look like whatever THEY want it to be!
You make and measure your own success. We are challenging the 9-5; the career ladder; the expectations other people have of a successful business (if you don’t have goals to get to 6 figures, that’s really quite ok!); the way you dress; the way you network; the lot. We’re doing it our way.
It’s important to us that within our group you can be vulnerable, you can ask any question, you can get the support you need – both inspiration and practical tips & training to succeed on your own terms. We’ve worked with hundreds of women to help them build their own version of a successful business. As a member you will overcome your challenges, constantly learn and develop, collaborate and make a load of amazing connections.
We celebrate our members each week with our member spotlight series. Be sure to sign up for our updates and you’ll get that dose of inspiration into your inbox each week.
IWD 8th March 2021
“A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let’s all #ChooseToChallenge“.
